Transitional Housing Programs for Drug & Alcohol Addiction in Arkansas

A transitional home in Arkansas is a type of non-permanent housing and is a bridge between homelessness, or emergency housing and permanent housing. When you have struggled with homelessness, addiction, or mental health issues, it can be hard to hold down a permanent address. Transitional housing can help with counseling and support, assist with locating full-time housing, helping you find employment, and generally just help you rebuild your life. Transitional housing in Arkansas may either be a situated building, but some are often mobile set-ups. When you choose to do transitional housing, you will often have to receive a referral from a shelter, or you can apply through the transitional home. There will often be rooms and space available for individuals or families. Transitional homes are excellent resources and do tend to operate in larger cities and communities, where there would be affordable permanent housing to go to after a stay within transitional housing.
