Transitional Housing Programs for Drug & Alcohol Addiction in Idaho

Transitional homes in Idaho will refer to supportive and temporary housing solutions for individuals and families who are homeless, and or struggling with addiction or mental health and homelessness. When you are staying at a transitional home, this is a bridge between shelter and permanent housing. Some transitional homes also provide specific services for refugees, who are new to the state. The purpose of a transitional home is to provide a temporary home to someone or a family in need, while they find a permanent address. Typically, these types of services are situated in areas where the demand is high, and where there is access to affordable houses. The length of time someone can stay at a transitional home can vary, from a couple of weeks to upwards of a couple of years. Many transitional homes in Idaho will provide basic supportive counseling, job skills training, counseling services for addictions, and other supportive programs.
