Transitional Housing Programs for Drug & Alcohol Addiction in Kentucky

All the various transitional housing programs in Kentucky operate differently from the next. There are often specific transitional homes for families and ones for men and women. Some of the transitional housing programs may cost to live there, but this is a small percentage of the household income along with possible utilities. In other circumstances, many transitional homes work among the homeless, and some homeless may be recovering from addiction. Transitional homes for the homeless are taking families and individuals from shelters, where they will live at a transition home, and then move on to more permanent housing. Very often, permanent housing is an affordable housing complex, which can be a good place to start a new life. Some transition homes in the country are designed for veterans of the United States Military, who may have struggled with homelessness. A transition home is supportive and temporary accommodation for those individuals and families in need.
