Transitional Housing Programs for Drug & Alcohol Addiction in Nevada

Any type of transitional housing in Nevada are programs that will bridge the gap between shelters and affordable housing. When someone ends up becoming homeless for whatever reason, such as working a job that does not pay enough or losing the job; they will need transitional housing. When you end up staying at a transition home, you will typically be referred there from a shelter. It is a common occurrence for emergency shelters to refer to individuals and or families who are homeless. In order for transition homes to be effective, there must be access to affordable housing. While you are staying at a transition home, you will typically be working with a caseworker, who will help you achieve your goals. Some of the goals could be saving a certain amount of money, acquiring new job skills, finding steady employment, and working towards having a permanent address. Transition homes are excellent places to take the time to rebuild your life, after being homeless.
