Transitional Housing Programs for Drug & Alcohol Addiction in New Jersey

Transitional housing in New Jersey consists of programs for people who are homeless or who may be struggling to find a home. There are many circumstances, where someone has been working but is simply not making enough money to afford regular housing. When you are staying at a transition home in New Jersey, it is often because you have been referred here from a shelter. It is not uncommon for people who are homeless to struggle with addiction or other mental-health problems. This can make it difficult to afford full-time housing and maintain this housing. During your stay at a transition home, you will typically be working with a service worker, who will be assisting you with achieving your goals. The length of time you are staying at a transitional home will depend on many things, but it can be for a couple of weeks, to upwards of a couple of years. Transition homes are temporary housing solutions but will ensure you are financially able to afford new permanent residents.
