Transitional Housing Programs for Drug & Alcohol Addiction in Puerto Rico

Transitional housing programs in Puerto Rico are temporary and supportive environments for many different types of people. The purpose of any transition home is to help bridge the gap between living at a shelter and finding more permanent housing. Most transition homes can help provide structure and support or supervision for addictions and mental health, life skills, and in some situations, education, and training. When you are living at any transition home, you will be working with a caseworker, who will be aiding you with achieving your goals. The goal is, of course, being able to afford more permanent housing. Transition homes are not permanent, yet; people can often stay there for a couple of years. The length of time you spend living at a transition home in Puerto Rico will be dependent upon how well you are doing with saving money, working, learning new skills, and rebuilding your life.
