Transitional Housing Programs for Drug & Alcohol Addiction in Virginia

Transitional housing projects in Virginia are temporary and supportive housing programs for people in need. Typically, an individual or a family will be referred to a transitional home from a shelter; they are living at. For example, this could be an emergency shelter. And they will need a place to live, while they find more permanent housing. Transition homes will help you find affordable and permanent housing, and more transition homes are connected with affordable housing projects. There are many different people who use transition homes in Virginia. For example, this will be the homeless, such as individuals, families, teens, and young adults. Veterans and refugees also access transition homes and the working homeless who is unable to afford any type of housing. The purpose of any transitional home to help you find more permanent housing. You will be working with a case worker, and they will help you achieve your goals, such as finding work and accessing more affordable housing.
