All throughout the state of Illinois are several different drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs that accept Tricare Health Insurance that will be able to help cover the costs of treatment and substance abuse help. Tricare typically covers military members, retired members, and their families, and will be able to get into drug rehab programs that can help them physically and mentally. Programs provide residential and outpatient drug rehab programs that can help male and female addicts who are battling different forms of addiction. Detox services and medical detox programs are provided that can help addicts become ready to enter a drug rehab program. Some of these programs provide effective aftercare treatment in the form of a sober living home, which is a transition period for addicts after they leave drug and alcohol rehabilitation.
Military Insurance Coverage
Members of the United States Military and retired members usually have health insurance that is provided through the Military Health System, and within some of the health insurance plans, it can help cover the treatment of a drug and alcohol addiction. Those who are living in Illinois and are active-duty service members or are retired, and are struggling with a substance abuse disorder, may utilize their insurance to pay for treatment in the state. Tricare is the health insurance provider who is overseen by the Defense Health Agency, and some of the drug and alcohol treatment programs in the state of Illinois will accept Tricare health insurance. Struggling with a substance abuse disorder is difficult, and there are members of the United States Military that are going through this and need the proper help. Military health insurance can help cover some or all the cost of inpatient treatment, detox, outpatient services, or hospital programs services within Illinois.

TRICARE is for active-duty service members, National Guard, Reserve members, retirees, and certain former spouses worldwide. Usually, individuals and family members of the abovementioned groups are eligible for Tricare coverage.
