Military Insurance Coverage

A military health insurance program for active-duty service members in the state of Massachusetts is provided through the Military Health System and provides a variety of healthcare options for its members. Struggling with a drug or alcohol addiction is difficult, and many addicts or those struggling with a dependency do not always reach out for help. Tricare is a civilian organization operated by the Defense Health Agency that provides health insurance. Within the state of Massachusetts, there will be some drug and alcohol treatment facilities that can take Tricare health insurance to pay for the cost of treatment. Covering some of the cost of treatment does alleviate some of the stress associated with getting help, but it is still important for those who are struggling with a drug problem to reach out to local resources in the state and get the help they need.
