When it comes to locating a drug and alcohol rehab program, many options come at high costs or there may be long waiting lists involved. It is more common today for many drug rehab programs in the state of Minnesota to accept different forms of health insurance, which can cover most if not all the treatment processes depending on what type of insurance a person does have. In the state of Minnesota, there are over five different drug and alcohol treatment programs that can accept Tricare health insurance to cover the cost of treatment, but in some cases, a center may require some payment to cover the cost of living if it is a residential drug treatment program. These programs in the state offer outpatient and residential drug treatment on the short-term and long-term care basis. There are also detox programs available, and specific drug and alcohol treatment centers set up to help a DUI offender, who has Tricare insurance and requires drug treatment.

Military Insurance Coverage

When struggling with a drug or alcohol addiction it can be hard to reach out for help, and this can be a difficult thing to do for active-duty service members in the United States Military. Members of the United States Military that are living in Minnesota and who may be struggling with a drug or alcohol addiction can use their health insurance coverage to help pay for the cost of treatment. Health insurance for active-duty service members and retirees is provided through the Military Health System. Tricare is the civilian organization that provides health insurance, and some of the drug treatment facilities in Minnesota will take Tricare health insurance. Addicts struggling with a substance abuse disorder can access inpatient or outpatient services, treatment for opioid addiction, detox, or hospital programs in the state. It is important to get the right help, and reach out for treatment, and access the various rehabilitation resources in Minnesota.

What's Next?

After completing a drug rehab in Minnesota covered by Tricare, aftercare support is the next step. It is challenging to know what aftercare should be considered. However, the most common approaches include outpatient programs, sober living homes, sober coaching, or recovery meetings. Many of these aftercare options are available in Minnesota. The goal is to help you or your loved one continue the recovery journey.
