In the state of Missouri, drug and or alcohol addicts can find different drug treatment programs and facilities to help handle most substance abuse issues. Most drug rehab centers in the state can accept some form of health insurance, and this includes Tricare insurance, which is provided to United States Military personnel. There are just over a few different programs in the state that can accept this form of insurance and provide effective substance abuse treatment for men and women and teens. These programs include services such as outpatient drug treatment and residential programs. There are detox facilities available to help addicts through the withdrawal process as well as specific programs for criminal-justice clients who may have been court-ordered to rehab.
Military Insurance Coverage
Active-duty service members within the United States Military risk becoming addicted to drugs and alcohol or struggling with mental health issues. Within the state of Missouri, any active-duty service member battling addiction can utilize their health insurance to pay for treatment facilities in the state. Military health insurance programs are provided through the Military Health System. Tricare is a civilian health insurance provider that is overseen by the Defense Health Agency and provides different plans for its members. Some of the drug and alcohol treatment facilities in Missouri will take Tricare health insurance. Struggling with a drug or alcohol addiction is not easy, and it is important to be able to get the right type of help. Active-duty service members are prone to struggling with addiction and may not be in a position to be able to afford the cost of private drug and alcohol treatment. Health insurance plans will ensure they can get the affordable help they need in the state.

TRICARE is for active-duty service members, National Guard, Reserve members, retirees, and certain former spouses worldwide. Usually, individuals and family members of the abovementioned groups are eligible for Tricare coverage.
