Drug and alcohol treatment is provided all over the state of North Dakota, and programs are available to treat all forms of addiction and substance abuse. These programs include residential and outpatient services for long and short-term care. This also includes twelve-step programs, detox and medical detox services, and many drug rehab programs using holistic treatment methods to help addicts. Some of these services do come at a cost, but most are covered by health insurance or are low-cost and free treatment. There is a drug treatment center in the state that can accept Tricare health insurance, and a patient can receive outpatient or residential services for a long-term or short-term care period.
Military Insurance Coverage
Drug and alcohol addiction is a problem that many people struggle with who live in North Dakota, and there will be members of the United States military, whether they are on active duty or retired, who are suffering from a substance abuse disorder or other mental health problems. Military healthcare is provided through the Military Health System, and the health insurance policies are offered through Tricare, which is a civilian organization overseen by the Defense Health Agency. Some of the drug and alcohol treatment programs in North Dakota will take Tricare health insurance. This can help pay for some treatment options and offset some or all the cost associated with drug rehab.
