Within the state of Ohio are numerous drug and alcohol treatment centers that can help treat substance abuse and addiction for men, women, and teens. Many of these centers work with health insurance companies to help set up health benefits that can cover different types of drug rehab. Some of the treatments may not be covered in the case of a residential treatment center. The addict or family may have to pay for some of the costs involved in the living expenses. There are just over six different drug rehab programs and facilities in the state of Ohio that can accept Tricare insurance plans, and this will cover drug treatment programs that some of these centers provide.

Military Insurance Coverage

Substance abuse disorders can affect members of the United States Military, and it is not uncommon for active-duty service members living in Ohio to struggle with a drug or alcohol problem. It can be tough to reach out for help, but through the military healthcare plans, active-duty service members and retired members can be covered for drug addiction treatment. Healthcare is provided through the Military Health System, and Tricare is the civilian organization that provides the different health insurance policies for its members. Some of the drug and alcohol treatment programs in the state of Ohio will take Tricare health insurance. An addict battling addiction in Ohio may be covered for inpatient or outpatient drug rehab, hospital inpatient services, detox, or even treatment for opioid addiction. It is important to get the right help in the state and enters into a program that will treat all aspects of the addiction.

During his 5 years as an intake counselor, he helped many addicts get the treatment they needed. He also dealt with the families and friends of those people; he saw first-hand how much strain addiction puts on a family and how it can tear relationships apart. With drug and alcohol problems constantly on the rise in the United States and Canada, he decided to use the Internet as a way to educate and help many more people in both those countries. This was 15 years ago. Since then, Marcel has built two of the largest websites in the U.S. and Canada which reach and help millions of people each year. He is an author and a leader in the field of drug and alcohol addiction. His main focus is threefold: education, prevention and rehabilitation. To this day, he still strives to be at the forefront of technology in order to help more and more people. He is a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Treatment Specialist graduate with Honours of Stratford Career Institute. Marcel has also received a certificate from Harvard for completing a course entitled The Opioid Crisis in America and a certificate from The University of Adelaide for completing a course entitled AddictionX: Managing Addiction: A Framework for Succesful Treatment.
