Within the state of Arkansas, there is a drug and alcohol treatment program that can accept Tricare Insurance to help cover drug treatment costs. Tricare offers civilian health benefits for military members and also retired military members. The drug and alcohol treatment center available in the state provides a number of different services for military members. This includes a detox and medical detox program, which can help safely withdraw addicts from large amounts of different drugs and even alcohol. Some addicts are in very difficult positions and cannot come off of drugs cold turkey. Other services include outpatient and residential drug rehabilitation on a short-term and long-term care basis. Each form of drug rehabilitation offers different programs to help addicts in the military and their families, as it can take different approaches to help treat addiction and alcoholism.
Military Insurance Coverage
Within the state of Arkansas, active service members and retired service members of the United States Military receive health insurance through the Military Health System. Military health insurance can also cover the dependents of active service members and veterans and is provided by Tricare, which is the civilian organization overseen by the Defense Health Agency that provides health insurance. Within this health insurance plan, those who are struggling with a drug or alcohol addiction can access different types of treatment, which will be covered by their health insurance. Members of the United States Military and retirees that are struggling with drug or alcohol addiction can reach out for help in the state of Arkansas. The military health insurance plan may cover inpatient drug rehab, intensive outpatient services, detox, treatment for opioid addiction, or hospital inpatient services.
