The state of Connecticut has a couple of drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs that are able to accept Tricare Insurance, which can help cover the costs of treatment for military members, their families, and retired military members. These programs can be good options for military members and their families and can accept Tricare Insurance. Many addicts are not able to afford drug and alcohol treatment and insurance can help cover some, if not all costs associated with drug treatment. Most programs throughout the United States accept some form of insurance to help addicts, and this gives them more options to look at when searching for the right kind of drug and alcohol rehabilitation.

Military Insurance Coverage

Active duty and retired members of the United States Military living in Connecticut will often receive their health insurance through the Military Health System. Health insurance for members of the military and retirees is provided through Tricare, which is the civilian organization overseen by the Defense Health Agency. Tricare health insurance plans can help members of military and retirees pay for drug and alcohol treatment services in Connecticut. It is not uncommon for active-duty service members and retired service members to struggle with addiction/dependency or a substance abuse disorder. Because it can be difficult to reach out for help, many people don’t get the treatment they need. Having drug and alcohol rehabilitation covered under health insurance will ensure that members of the United States Military and retirees can receive the proper drug rehabilitation and treatment they need for their addiction.
