In the state of Maryland, drug, and alcohol addicts who have United Behavioral Health insurance have access to just over five different drug and alcohol treatment centers, which will be covered under this insurance. Located in different counties these programs provide treatment and detox using drugs such as Buprenorphine and Suboxone, which is a method used to help treat opiate addiction. Other services include residential drug rehab centers; these programs are live-in facilities for addicts who require a controlled and safe environment to work through their drug treatment program. Outpatient drug treatment centers allow their clients to attend drug rehab daily, but they will not be living at the facility. Detox programs in the state help addicts through their withdrawals, which in some cases can be quite difficult, but with the right help, an addict can become prepared to enter a suitable drug rehabilitation center.
