Currently, in the state of Utah are different facilities and treatment centers where an addict or family of an addict can receive an addiction assessment and evaluation. When this evaluation takes place it will provide the right kind of help and treatment needed for the addiction.

Will my family have to be with during a clinical assessment?

Not necessarily, only if the patient is requesting their family is with them, and in some cases, a qualified clinician can determine what type of family history is there. It is not uncommon that family relationships may be broken or severely damaged, and the patient will be uncomfortable with having them there during the assessment.
