Last updated: 25 November 2021

Within the state of Connecticut are just a couple of different drug and alcohol rehabilitation programs available to accept Beacon Health Options (previously known as Value Options) health benefits and insurance. These drug treatment programs provide outpatient services that may include partial hospitalization programs and treatment programs that can use the drug Suboxone to help opiate addicts through the withdrawals and treatment process. Other services include medical detox programs, which will use medically supervised detox processes to help addicts who cannot go through a typical detox program. This process is very helpful for opiate addiction and prescription drug addiction. Inpatient hospitalization, services are also available to addicts who have difficult health problems along with their substance abuse issues. Health insurance will help cover certain costs, and in some cases can cover all costs involved for drug and alcohol rehabilitation.
