Washington Partial Hospitalization Programs for Alcohol and Drug Addiction

Before an addict begins with a partial hospitalization program they will go through an intake process or an evaluation. This evaluation will be done to help develop an individualized treatment approach and plan based on a person’s addiction and mental health status. Partial hospitalization programs in Washington are comprehensive services and provide in-depth treatment, which is different from a standard outpatient drug treatment program. These types of programs are beneficial for addicts who require continuous medical support because the proper medical personnel will be on staff to help. Partial hospitalization programs will not be for everyone but are often used as a step-down program for someone who has completed an inpatient drug treatment center. Drug and alcohol addiction does not have to be a life-long problem, and addicts and their families can find the proper help in the state of Washington.
