Who Answers?

Calls to the website’s main helpline are answered by Wert Inc., a call center that specializes in helping individuals and families across the United States find resources for substance use disorder.

Addicted.org and Wert Inc. do not own any rehab or addiction services. This means our helpline can provide completely independent and unbiased advice to help you find the rehab service most suitable for you or your loved one.

Please note that if you are calling from California, your call will be answered by Alli Intervention, an intervention service based in California. However, when calling the helpline, you are under no obligation to use any of their services.

Our helpline comes at no cost to the caller and offers complete confidentiality.

You can also browse our comprehensive list of addiction treatments by state by visiting our homepage. Don’t hesitate to reach out by calling our helpline or filling out our contact form if you need help finding the right rehab center or detox program. However, if you believe you have a medical emergency, you should immediately call 911.

MAAC Project – Nosotros

Updated on: 19 January 2026

About this center

Nosotros is a men’s residential recovery home operated by MAAC Project in San Diego County, California. It’s designed for adult men whose alcohol or drug use has begun to interfere with everyday stability (housing, work, family responsibilities, or legal expectations) and who need a live-in recovery environment to start changing those patterns. This is not a short stop or a clinical office visit. Residents live on site and work through recovery as part of daily life, within a structured, substance-free community.

A Shared Living Environment That Builds Accountability

Men typically come to Nosotros when trying to manage recovery on their own hasn’t held, or when outpatient care hasn’t provided enough structure to interrupt repeating cycles. Life here is communal and intentional: residents share responsibility for the house, follow a consistent daily schedule, and participate in recovery-focused routines that mirror real-world expectations. Accountability isn’t abstract; it shows up in how people show up for each other, maintain commitments, and handle everyday responsibilities.

Recovery Work Integrated Into the Day

Rather than separating “treatment time” from the rest of the day, recovery at Nosotros is woven into daily living. Residents participate in individual counseling and clinical group sessions that focus on how substance use has shown up in their lives and what needs to change for progress to stick. Group work often touches on coping under pressure, decision-making, emotional regulation, and relapse prevention, not as theory, but as tools residents practice while living alongside others.

Preparing for Life Beyond the House

Nosotros functions as a transitional recovery setting, helping men build routines and skills they can carry into work, housing, and community life after leaving the home. Support often includes employment readiness, independent living skills, and connection to ongoing recovery resources so progress doesn’t end when the residential stay does. The goal is to leave with momentum, abstinence, structure, and follow-through that can hold up outside the program.

A Setting for Men Who Need Recovery Built Into Daily Life

Nosotros is commonly used by men who recognize that substance use has already begun shaping their daily world in ways they want to change, and who need consistency, shared accountability, and a stable environment to do that work. It fits moments when someone is ready to slow down, stay present, and practice recovery through everyday choices — building habits that can carry forward into the life they’re returning to, not away from it.
