When addict children require help, they may not always have someone to turn to. The addict may not have family or friends who are able to care for the children. Some of the drug rehab centers in Arizona provide services for addicts with children. These are often residential centers. However, there are some approaches used. If it was an outpatient program, there may be a daycare center available. Inpatient drug rehab centers could offer residential beds for children. This child may also be included as part of therapy to help the parents. Some treatment centers will reach out to the extended family to find someone to help care for the children. According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Association, between 2009 and 2014, one in eight children under 17 were living with a parent who was abusing drugs. When children grow up watching their parents abuse drugs and alcohol, they are more likely to do the same.
