Teen Challenge Puerto Rico – Bayamon (Carratera)

Teen Challenge is an extensive collection of faith-based recovery organizations that provide treatment and rehabilitation to the individual with substance abuse and dependency disorders. The De Bayamon center mainly offers long-term rehabilitation to men and adolescents in a Christian setting, where they can restore their faith as they heal their mind and body. This center provides all of their substance abuse recovery services through the outpatient and inpatient recovery plans. They offer faith-based guidance through group counselling sessions; the environment of the group therapy sessions is friendly and supportive so that the client can become comfortable in a social setting. The clients have to follow a structured rehabilitation lifestyle; it helps the client by stopping their mind from wandering off too negative thoughts and behaviors. The clients learn and grows during the rehabilitation at this center and develop a self-supporting personality that can handle responsibilities. All of their substance abuse counselling programs provide relapse prevention sessions in which the client learns skills and techniques to cope with their addiction disorder. They offer several services to the local individuals that need re-education for their addictive behavior. They offer the substance abuse recovery services bilingually in English and Spanish.
