One of the problems within the field of addiction is some "referral agencies" are, in fact, owned by treatment centers to fill their beds, which is by itself misleading visitors. This is widely covered on the Internet https://theintercept.com/2017/10/17/google-search-drug-use-opioid-epidemic/.

DRS and RNT CONSULTING LLC are an independent website and call center not owned by any treatment. We are also trying to refer you to treatment that believes in good treatment practice, not rehabs that substitute an addiction with another dependency using medication. We believe that a drug-free life can be achieved. Medication can be used but only for detox purpose.

Our goal is to give you the possibility of attain a drug-free life.

Louisiana Drug And Alcohol Program & Treatments For Youth

Drugs, alcohol and sex are three things that will get an adolescent in more trouble then they are willing to handle. Teen pregnancy, overdoses, trouble with the law; all can be linked to drugs and alcohol. For so many teens in Louisiana, it is just not worth the trouble; they have such bright futures and become destroyed by these things. Fortunately, the state of Louisiana has over fifteen different types of treatment options for teens. This includes different support groups, residential and outpatient services, along with counseling. Teens in the state can get the right help for their addictions.

Did you know this about Youth?

Youth addiction, when addressed in a treatment, is different compared to an adult who has more responsibility in life. An adult has often families to take care of and also if in trouble with the law, the consequences are far greater than for an adolescent.

Adolescent drug problems can consist of addiction, dependence and abuse, and these are all problems facing the residents within the state of Louisiana. Families have loved ones at very young ages become addicted to some dangerous drugs, and have nowhere to turn. The SAMHSA website directory lists just over 20 different resources for teens throughout the state. The facilities are spread all over the state with no real concentration of treatment centers in one spot.

Twelve-step programs and self-help groups are just as effective for teens as they can be for adults. The major benefit from these services is their ability to incorporate relationship building and family counseling programs for their clients and their families. Adolescents struggling with addiction will require the help for their parents and family along the way. It is important they receive continuous support during their treatment process, and continue to receive it when they are complete.

Here is a list of the different adolescent treatments in Louisiana. The list can be incomplete so please do not hesitate to contact one of our counselors at 1-800-304-2219.
